Today we discussed the Development section of the ADDIE Model. This section contains the student guide, instructor lesson plans, and instructional materials. Here, the designer arranges all the materials and writes explicit lesson plan instructions to meet the objectives.
There are 9 sections of an effective lesson plan. They are: Gain Attention, Direction, Recall, Content, App. Feedback Level1, App. Feedback Level2, App. Feedback Level3, Evaluation, and Closure. This lesson plan is a little different to what I'm used to. I typically use the SIOP model that I learned in my ESL courses. However, I'm eager to begin writing my lessons and even MORE eager to finally start teaching this unit!
